Bowling Fundraiser - July 29, 2007
Thanks to everyone that participated in today's fundraiser. A Special Thanks goes out to Vinnie for arranging it. We had a really great time and the turn out was much better than we anticipated. We raised $657.00 from the bowling portion, $65.00 from the raffle (Thanks for the great prizes too Vinnie!) and $300 in addition donations (Thanks Lynda and Bob!) for a grand total of $1,022.00. Hopefully we can do another one soon! The Independent Newspaper was also in the house to cover the event. Look for highlights in the next addition!We also had a special guest bowler, Daniel Gold, who selflessly requested guests of his recent Bar Mitzvah to donate pet related items and cash to our rescue which he located on Petfinder and liked above all others. We are pleased to announce that Daniel presented checks in the amount of $328 and a van full of pet items to us today.
